News Update

After a tremendous shakes that happen to Indonesia yesterday. A 7.5 quake hits sumatra again this morning around 7 plus. Quake felt in singapore too.

i feel that i am swaying side to side while i am sleeping. The shakes is enough to wake you up. I normally sleep dead but this morning i am awaken by it.

So feeling abit dizzy and weird. I went to call my mother. She's at serangoon central only. I told her and she say i am dreaming. But i am sure i am not. So i call my father up. And he ask me the same thing. I called flora, she too also didnt feel anything. Then weird, by right my centre of gravity should be stronger but why i felt it?

But later on around 5 mins later, he called and say the radio station is reporting about the quake this morning.

See, i wouldn't be wrong about it what. The water in my fish tank is swaying too. And i have took a video of it. HAHAHA.

Because yesterday my sister told me that she feel shaking in the house. So i am disappointed that i didnt feel it. I have never felt earthquake. I want to know how it feel like.

So it happen again this morning.

Allow me to explain what is earthquake and what cause it.

An earthquake is what happens when two blocks of the earth suddenly slip past one another. The surface where they slip is called the fault or fault plane.

What causes earthquakes?

An earthquake is caused by the sudden release of energy that results when rock in the Earth’s crust is under so much stress that it suddenly breaks. The split masses of rock then grind past one another as they are pushed by the forces that caused the stress.
